Being hospitalized should not be dreary. That is why Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur strives to bring the best to our patients.

  1. Entertainment
    We offer ASTRO programmes on television in all our rooms. There is also free wireless internet for everyone to use and stay in touch with the world while you recuperate.
  2. Meals
    Where meals are concerned, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur is like a hotel with doctors. All patients are served with three main meals and three snacks each day, which is included in the room rates.

    We have 11 suites to cater to the comfort of our patients, who are offered fine dining menu. GKL is staffed with chefs who are trained and experienced in serving tasty, nutritious food.

    We also have an ala carte menu for visitors that will be delivered to these rooms. They can choose a variety of Malay, Chinese, Indian, International and Vegetarian Set Menu prepared by our kitchens.

    Of course, the food served for the patient will be within the specification of the doctors and dietician, while for the guests it will be fine dining cuisine of the best hotels.

  3. Interpreter Services
    Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur (GKL) receives many patients from all over the world. In an effort to provide the best possible care and solutions to our international patients, we have in-house interpreters who can assist and link patients to their doctors and hospital staff. Our interpreter services are also extended to families of patients who can benefit from it by receiving up-to-date information. We have interpreters for Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesia, German, French and Arabic.
  4. Smoke Free
    The whole hospital area is a smoke-free zone, inside and outside the buildings. We enforce this in the interest of your health and the comfort of others. As such, please do not smoke or allow your visitors to smoke in your room, bathroom or anywhere within the hospital premises. There is a fine of RM1,000 for this offense.
  5. Private Nursing
    Some patients may wish to engage private nurses to for round-the-clock care during their stay at the hospital. The hospital provides private nursing for patients in the Presidential Suite. Other than that, the patient shall be responsible for the arrangement and payment of private nurses they have hired independently. These nurses must be registered with the hospital as a private nurse.
  6. Valuables
    We do not encourage patients to keep valuables like jewelry and cash in their rooms during their stay in the hospital as the management shall not be responsible for any losses. We do, however, provide hospital safe for you to keep your valuables, but this too shall be at the patient’s own risk.
